Courtyard Kaua’i on Coconut Beach was the nicest place we stayed at while visiting Kauai. To be fair, we haven’t stayed in many hotels or resorts on Kaua’i so this review may be bias, very bias. However, it can’t be forged that the service was excellent and the room had us so well pampered we didn’t want to leave it.

Something of good note: Our room had ample outlets which, believe it or not, is very hard to come now days while staying in other hotels/hostels/resorts. Probably because in this modern era we carry 2-3 times the amount of electronics than we did a decade ago, or even half a decade.
The room had high ceilings, which is appealing to the fact that it is very spacious but as you walk through, what seemed like a mini-mansion of a room, you get to the balcony. Now, this was a view.
The view from our balcony displayed perfectly all the colors of a sunrise and then some. A cool ocean breeze to wake you up with a coffee in hand is how we started our mornings. It was very easy to get too comfortable here. For the last night, we left the balcony doors open so we could hear the sounds of the crashing waves on shore as the steady breeze kept us cool all night. Perfect energy savor using the wind as our air condition!
There are many actives around the hotel for both children and adults. We spent one afternoon playing air hockey before dinner. In the same room also had a t.v to watch movies are play playstation. For the bookworm (like myself) there are a few novels for you to enjoy as well. Outside, there is the pool, a fire pit to get coney by, yoga in the mornings, corn holes, and available bikes to rent to explore around the local community.
Why else do we book a vacation? To relax! Courtyard Kaua’i has many comfortable lounging equipment throughout the vanity, like this hammock – we spent an entire afternoon sleeping in these before we had to pack up our suitcases.

To top things off, their morning buffet, with a chef at the ready to cook your custom omelet, was the best feature! It really is a tropical paradise within paradise and very tempting to lounge around all day at the hotel. Heck, there’s even a nightclub for those late night festivities. Fun never stops here it seems and writing this post makes me miss it, especially their breakfast! Either way, if you’re visiting Kaua’i and need a quick night’s rest or looking for a luxury getaway, for those that just want to stay in one place and really sore up your vacation time, stay at the Courtyard Kaua’i by Marriott, There is no possibility you’ll regret it!
