After much planning, we finally went on our girls trip to Las Vegas. We’ve planned a few exciting activities during our trip and I couldn’t wait to share it with you all. We started the trip on the right track. For the first night, we saw the Vegas Skyline light up the night via Maverick Helicopters!

Maverick Helicopters offers day and night tours. We decided to go with the night tour to experience the beauty of Las Vegas strip lit up.

The night started out with a complimentary transportation from our hotel and took an approximate 20-minute ride to the Las Vegas terminal.

After checking-in, we were greeted with another complimentary gift: champagne (classy!). With our drink in hand, we proceeded to the waiting area to wait for the tour. The build up of anticipation grew tremendously as we got to watch tours before us land and leave while enjoying our champagne. Shortly after, we were greeted by our pilot and was given a quick safety briefing.

Lift off! This is my second time being in a helicopter but first time for a night tour. I was ecstatic, especially flying over Las Vegas at night; talk about city lights galore. During the flight, our pilot was very informative and gave us some history on some hotels while also making sure we were comfortable throughout. Indeed, the flight was safe and very smooth. Their saying “limousine of the sky” was real from experience as it was really comfortable.

Although it was a quick 15-minute tour, Maverick Helicopters definitely showed us some breathtaking views of the strip and made the whole tour the best it could possibly be. Also, during our tour, the moon was blood red which we ended up finding out was the Penumbral Lunar Eclipse. It was fantastic!
