Thank you to our fellow blogger friend, Kait at Communikait.com, for inspiring us to create this post! She recently shared her “2019 In Numbers” which is a great take on a yearly recap. It is such an awesome way to reflect back on what has happened this past year (all the highs and lows) and the accomplishments along the way! We have been blogging since 2015 but it is never too late to start a tradition: sharing our 2019 in numbers.

3 – New countries we visited this year such as Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia. Bali has been on the top of my list to visit! Reid and I quickly fell in love with the country of Indonesia because of the people and their delicious food.

135 – Number of new blog posts in 2019! When we wrote down our 2019 goal, our target was to publish 156 blog posts – we were short by 21 blog posts. Not bad! Here is a few of our popular blog posts this year:

HOW TO START A WEBSITE
OUR PHOTOGRAPHY GEAR
101 THINGS TO DO IN HAWAII
DESSERTS TO TRY IN HAWAII
THINGS TO DO ON THE NORTH SHORE

Speaking of blog posts, please leave a comment or message us on what you would like to read on this blog! Want more travel posts? family topics? food recommendations? Hawaii guides? Let us know – we really appreciate your comments, messages, and requests!

2 – We are extremely grateful to have been invited to two press trips this year. Our goal was at least one this year. Very thankful for the relationships we have made during these trips!

13,000 – We wrote down $10,000 to earn in 2019 from the blog and/or campaigns. For the year, we made over $13,000 from the blog without counting campaigns, partnerships, and side jobs we had. Having an ad management for the blog is very helpful, thank you Mediavine!

1 – Magazine feature! Not originally on any bucket list, we were lucky to have crossed this off at the end of the year. For Nov/Dec 2019 Hawaii Magazine issue, our photos were featured on a two-page spread!

After reminiscing this past year – all the memories we made, fun family travels, sunset and sunrise adventures, new things we tried, amazing food events we went to – we feel very appreciative for all of the connections and relationships we made. This year was filled with abundance and blessings!

2019, you were incredible. Here’s to accomplishing even bigger goals in 2020!
