#10WANDERFOODHAWAII

(Clickable hashtag leads to more food recommendations!)

While we had family and friends visiting Hawaii recently, we visited many restaurants. We love having visitors because we experience new places to eat as well! We realized that most of these places had happy hours! Being that we haven’t focused on happy hours on the blog, we decided to put together the best and most reviewed places for Happy Hours!

In collaboration with @RAGrinds, one of Hawaii’s best foodie Instagram, we featured most of their photos to showcase some of the best happy hours on the island! Check out their Instagram for more food photos and inspiration. Don’t blame us if you get hungry after looking at their feed!

We had a pleasure of eating dinner at Eating House through a Yelp event. Eating House is by Roy Yamaguchi (Roy’s Restaurant), an award-winning chef that is very well known, especially on the island of Hawaii. Check-in on Yelp and you’ll get a sweet treat! | Happy Hour Menu

2. CACTUS

It’s been awhile since I’ve visited Cactus, but I still remember it for their delicious drinks. We stopped by the restaurant while in Kailua, but it was closed. On Yelp, it says they’re open at 11 am but on the door, they open at 3:30 pm (temporarily). Get here in the afternoon for some great drinks and delicious pupus! | Happy Hour Menu

We love going to Yard House when we’re around Waikiki! They have some awesome choices on their Happy Hour menu such as their Poke Nachos, Spinach Cheese Dip, Chicken Lettuce Wraps, and so much more. The appetizers and pizzas on their Happy Hour menu are half-priced! | Happy Hour Menu

While we haven’t tried the Surfing Pig yet, we did try its sister restaurant, Kono’s. They have quick, small bites available on their menu such as edamame, street tacos, truffle fries (which I can’t wait to try!), and so much more. | Happy Hour Menu

A post shared by Tiki’s Grill & Bar (@tikisgrill) on

Tiki’s Grill & Bar is one of our favorite places in Waikiki. They have some $5 bites on the menu such as Kalbi Beef Gyoza (so good!), Kalua Pig Quesadilla, Truffled Garlic Edamame, and Furikake Fries. Also, $5 Blue Hawaii and Margarita on the Rocks! Great drinks and quick bites, sounds like a good happy hour! Happy Hour Menu

Check out Herringbone on Yelp.
2330 Kalakaua Ave. Ste 316 Honolulu, HI 96815
Happy Hour: Daily, 4pm-6pm

10. RESTAURANT 604

Although located at a popular spot in Pearl Harbor, Restaurant 604 doesn’t get that much attention being that they’re in a hidden spot. If you follow the road, pass the memorial and their parking, you’ll see the restaurant! I love it here because they play live local music and a nice view of the harbor. If you haven’t eaten here, try it out, you will not regret it! Especially during their Aloha Hour where Appetizers are 50% off! It’s worth checking out, they have a lot on the menu. | Aloha Hour Menu

Check out Restaurant 604 on Yelp.
57 Arizona Memorial Dr. Honolulu, HI 96818
Happy Hour: 3pm-5pm
