With countless hotels in Vegas, it could be very difficult to settle for “the one”. The criteria most prefer are cheap, walking distance from the main strip, and above all, comfy! The Jockey Club hits all points. It was one of the first set of new hotels built along what is known as “the new strip” however, it has been updated since then. It has state of the art technology within their walls along with friendly staff able to fulfill just about any request, comfortable rooms and is a timeshare hotel (we are not timeshare owners).

That being said, with it being an originally built hotel, more towering buildings trump The Jockey Club’s height. It is tucked right between the Cosmopolitan and Bellagio and is pretty hidden, even when looking for it. To access it, you need to turn right (from the strip) as if you were turning into the Bellagio but continue to the left where it will eventually lead to the valet and parking for the Jockey Club.

We picked the 1 bedroom Suite for only $95 per night. This is their lowest rate. It was really roomy! The couch also pulls out into a queen sofa sleeper. The room was a steal; really a great deal for such great quality and location.

Fully equipped kitchen! Although we only stayed at this place for 2 nights, we took advantage of the kitchen and cooked breakfast!

Nice little dining area.

King size bed in the master bedroom with a walk-in closet and the bathroom.

Let’s be honest, this hotel doesn’t have a great view (the view of this suite was of a Cosmopolitans wall) and can be hard to find as it is quite hidden. Although, the room, the service, the location, and endless entertainment in the surrounding area makes up for it with such a reasonable price! If it still is on the pricey side, split the cost with a few friends, the place is big enough for, I’d say, about 5-6 people comfortably! Did we mention it’s walking distance to the strip? Another great feature of The Jockey Club.
