We were initially torn whether to post this on January 1, 2016 or on the date of our “real” start. We decided to take it the full 365-days-a-year route and publish it on our “real” start. So, 365 days ago, we hit ‘publish’ on our very first blog post, which marks this as our 100th publication, which was not planned! There are a few reasons as to why we started blogging our adventures but it all came down to our love for travel and wanting a platform to share this passion with anyone who would be interested. In a more selfish narrative, I, being Reid, enjoy writing so this blog is a great outlet for me in a therapeutic sense.
For those of you that follow our blog, we first and foremost want to acknowledge and say THANK YOU! You’re a big chunk of our lives now! We appreciate each one of you taking the time to read our posts and even comment!
It’s been a very exciting year for us! We were fortunate enough to accomplish a few of our bucket list dreams and added even more.
Not to get confused with our theme of annual firsts posts, this is a quick little tribute to our first year as travel-bloggers, or in a similar sense “Our year in review”.

Big Congratulations. Hope you had a few drinks to celebrate making the 100 and a year of blogging. that’s a fair amount of work isn’t it? We’re just about to hit the 100 and bizarrely have also been blogging for a year. It’s great to look back on isn’t it? Can’t believe all the things we’ve done in the past year and the places we’ve been. I’m sure its exactly the same for you guys. Here’s to another year.
