A few months ago, we shared about the JOBY HandyPod Mobile Plus. We brought it with us during our trip to Japan, Malaysia, Bali, and Singapore! Aside from using it as a mobile tripod for selfies and self-timer, it’s been a great product to use as a vlogging tripod. Today, we’re taking you along with us as we adventure out to the North Shore!
Before we take you at a few of our favorite places on the North Shore, let’s talk about the JOBY HandyPod Mobile Plus. As mentioned, it’s great for taking selfies and self-timer. We love that it comes with a bluetooth remote which can detach from the tripod! It can be used with actions cams and smartphones as well. Now, to start our morning, we love heading to the Sunrise Shack. They serve the best bullet coffee on Oahu! Along with other healthy items such as smoothie bowls, cold pressed juices, healthy bites and salads, and smoothies. Everything they serve are organic and have amazing flavors!
After an amazing cup of coffee and smoothie, we make a stop at one of the beaches on the North Shore. A few of our favorite beaches would be Sunset beach, Waimea Bay beach, Laniakea beach or Turtle beach, and Ehukai beach park. When going in the water at any beaches, please be cautious of the signs and never turn your back towards the ocean – always stay safe!
To end a nice beach day, head over to Ted’s Bakery for some garlic shrimp and their famous pies! Ted’s Bakery is our new favorite places to go to for their garlic shrimp – if you get the plate, it comes with your choice of cream pie. Their home-made pies are delicious and comes in different flavors such as macadamia nut pie, chocolate haupia pie, lilikoi cheese pie, strawberry haupia cream pie, haupia cream pie, and much more!
