Over the weekend, we packed our bags and headed to Waikiki for an exciting family staycation! We were invited by Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel to check out their newly modernized dive-in movie. Before we get into this fun activity, let’s explore more of the all-new lifestyle hotel!

ROOM
During our staycation, we checked-in to the stunning Deluxe Ocean View Guest Room. For this room, you have the option to have one king bed or two double beds. These amenities are included for each room: work desk, mini refrigerator, 55″ flat screen cable TV, keurig coffee maker, bluetooth-ready speaker and alarm clock, safe, iron & ironing board, hair dryer, and our favorite – a private balcony. The balcony offers a gorgeous view of the Pacific Ocean and Diamond Head! The rate depends on the season, this room is currently at $292 per night, check out other rates here.

DINE-IN MOVIE
Once we were settled in our room, we had time to watch the sunset. We walked over to Waikiki Beach which is located right across the hotel. Then, we walked back over to the pool deck for the dine-in movie night! The dive-in movie is a weekly (every Saturday) complimentary entertainment for the guests. The family-friendly movie we watched was Percy Jackson: Sea of Monster and the kids enjoyed it! It’s a great family activity where the kids can find themselves enjoying the pool while adults relax in the hot tub, or just enjoy watching the movie and eating some popcorn. Awesome addition to Waikiki Beachcomber hotel! If you’re looking for more things to do in Waikiki, read more here.
