Ghost Bar Honolulu 2026: The Halloween Pop-Up Bar at Ala Moana

Looking for a spooky night out on Oahu? Ghost Bar is back at Ala Moana Center for a limited-time Halloween pop-up from October 16 to 31, 2026!

Presented by 17A Productions, the same crew behind Haunted Plantation in Waipahu, Ghost Bar brings a different kind of Halloween experience to Honolulu. This year’s theme features creepy dolls, killer clowns, and nightmare-inspired decorations, making it a fun spot for Halloween cocktails and photo opportunities. During our visit, we tried several specialty cocktails, including the Arachnid, Witches’ Brew, Killer Clown, and Fangs. They also offer fun Syringe Shots and a Blood Punch Cauldron that’s perfect for sharing. If you love POG flavors, the cauldron is definitely worth trying! While Ghost Bar doesn’t serve food, they do offer Halloween treat bags. Whether you’re planning a Halloween date night or a night out with friends, Ghost Bar is a fun seasonal experience to check out before it disappears!

Ghost Bar Tips Before You Go

Ghost Bar first popped up at Ala Moana back in 2018, and each time it returns, the theme changes. Last year leaned witchy, with a pumpkin patch corner, a vampire’s lair, and an apothecary bar lined with “poison” bottles, so the dolls and killer clowns make 2026 feel like a brand new haunt. Budget for a night out, not a dive bar. In 2025, according to Aloha State Daily, specialty cocktails ran $15, syringe shots were $12, and the shareable Blood Punch Cauldron was $45. Prices can shift year to year, so check the menu board when you walk in. If you are rolling with three or four friends, get the cauldron. Last year’s version mixed passion fruit, orange, and guava with Kōloa Kauaʻi white rum, and it is a lot easier to split than four separate tabs. It is 21+ every night, so have your ID ready at the door, even if you showed up in full zombie makeup. There is no food, so eat first. Ala Moana has everything from the food court to sit-down spots upstairs, and doors open at 6 p.m., which lines up perfectly with an early dinner. Want room to take photos without strangers in your shot? Go early on a weeknight. In 2025 Fridays and Saturdays brought a DJ starting around 9 p.m., and the weekend crowd fills the place fast. Park on the Ewa end of the center so the walk is short, especially if somebody in your group is wearing costume shoes they already regret.
