There’s a lot of places to eat at in Waikiki that it gets overwhelming sometimes. Thankfully, on our recent stay at Shoreline Waikiki hotel, they had a restaurant right next door called Heavenly Island Lifestyle. We dined here a few times because it was very convenient for us and had great reviews on Yelp!
Heavenly Island Lifestyle restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, and happy hour. They include locally sourced ingredients in each dish and serves it with such a beautiful presentation. The restaurant has an airy island decor where you can dine indoors or on the outdoor terrace.
breakfast
It’s a very popular spot for breakfast since they serve the breakfast menu all day. From 6:30am to 11 pm, you’ll be able to enjoy their breakfast offerings from their acai bowl to their Big Island honey french toast! It gets quite busy with the morning rush hour, where a line starts forming outside so be ready to wait for a little before being seated. In the meantime, you can browse the menu while waiting!
dinner
We decided to check out their dinner menu and ended up dining inside for the evening. For dinner, they did not have a line outside and we were seated right away. They have a lot more options for dinner time and can also order breakfast items. We each ordered a dish from the dinner menu and enjoyed it all!
Being locals in Hawaii, we know a lot of places serving the same items on their menu. We’ve tasted better acai bowl, french toast, and breakfast burrito at other local restaurants on the island. While we didn’t quite enjoy the taste of their breakfast, we felt the opposite about their dinner. Our dinner experience was great and would come back again for that!
