As much as we love Island Vintage Coffee and Island Vintage Shave Ice, we realized we have not featured it on the blog yet. Be on the lookout for that! In the meantime, from the creators of both Island Vintage Coffee and Island Vintage Shave Ice is a new concept – Island Vintage Wine Bar.
The new space is beautiful and has a modern atmosphere. It’s a great place to wind down after a day of shopping at Royal Hawaiian Center. Island Vintage Wine offer 40 different wines in cruvinet dispensers perfect for sampling, as well as flights, wine by the glass or bottle, and local craft beer, hard cider, and sake.
Island Vintage Wine Bar serves appetizers, charcuterie, and desserts all day. For small plates and dinner, it’s offered from 5pm to 11pm. For the full list of the menu, visit here.
Fried Purple Sweet Potato with aged cheddar and smoked aioli – this is perfect for two to three people to share with other small plates!
Ahi Tartare with ahi negi, soy sauce, avocado, and nori chips
Ulu Hummus with taro chips – this was a great appetizer!
Truffle Mac and Cheese with cavatappi, truffle, and cheese – this was a favorite and will definitely come back for this!
Spicy Tofu Poke salad with rice and a side of papaya – this was in their dinner menu and it was very fulfilling!
We visited around 6pm for dinner on a weekday. There was a lot of seating throughout the space from regular tables, communal table, bar seating, and tables towards the back. We sat towards the back, the seats were more of a lounge setting which we really liked! We ordered a few appetizers on the menu and some wine. Unfortunately, they did not have moscato on the menu (yet). Overall, we enjoyed our first Island Vintage Wine Bar experience!
