20 Minutes away from Honolulu – The Shoreline Hotel, a Joie de Vivre, in Waikiki is located in the heart of the city. If you want easy access to shopping, eateries, beaches, and nighttime entertainment, this is the hotel for you! Everything a person desires or needs is at most a few walking blocks away. There is no need to drive around unless heading out of town. Bring your walking shoes and swimsuit! Shopping is approximately a 5 minute walk – The famous Duke Beach, a 10 minute walk. The Shoreline is also equipped with free Wi-Fi in each room. Although there is no complimentary breakfast within the hotel’s lobby, an awesome little boutique restaurant named “Heavenly” is on the bottom floor (Organic and Local ingredients!) just outside the main lobby.

The lobby offers refreshing cucumber, lemon-mint flavored water and (our favorite) Pineapple Ice tea. Both are gratifying refreshers to start the day and serves as a satisfying rehydration station upon a return. Don’t worry coffee lovers! – Coffee is complimentary, also located in the lobby.

The room is a perfect size for a couple or an individual. Not too big, not too small. If you want to sleep-in, slide the double curtains closed and no drip of sunlight will leak in. The bed is extremely comfortable, Air Condition is able to hit a low 60 degrees, and pillows were comfy as the clouds themselves.

A really awesome feature this Hotel had was a rooftop swimming pool. The pool had three depths: 3ft, 4ft, and 5ft with the center being the deepest. If you want to take a quick dip to cool off during the day or just soak up a quick tan; the rooftop is a secluded and wonderful location to do so. The Pool is open 8AM-9PM.
