I’ve been to amazing beaches in the world and yet, Polihale is still my favorite. I’m an open mind for the most part so I’m sure another spot will trump this one but for now and ever since I’ve first visited Polihale, it has been my favorite. It is on the West coast of Kaua’i and has 13 miles of white sandy beach, I believe 7 of which is on public land, allowing you to camp there.

NO light pollution, a perfect sunset, the temperature of the water is perfect and it is isolated, making this my favorite beach. Although the waves aren’t  too surfable here, it’s still a fun beach with shore break for the thrill seeker. It’s the last stop before sheer cliffs of the Napali Coast and literally the end of the road. We will return but next time, we are camping here! It’s such a beautiful place it’s hard to describe it.
