A new colorful hotel lies within Waikiki! Technically, it’s not a new hotel but a redesign of the Shoreline Waikiki. Say aloha to the very first neon themed hotel in Honolulu, Hawaii. From morning to night, Shoreline is filled with colors vibrating radiant energy throughout the property. From our last stay in 2015, Shoreline Waikiki Hotel re-branded themselves and are now known as the most colorful hotel in Hawaii. A total mix of #NatureMeetsNeon!
Fun Fact: Shoreline Waikiki Hotel was our very first hotel collaboration when we started the blog in 2015!
The colorful entrance at Shoreline Waikiki is very welcoming with its colorful ombre wall and lounge chairs. Once you’re inside the hotel, there is a lot to see in the neon tropical lobby – retail stand with local makers and authentic Hawaiian brands, paper mache birds, leaf installations, and a beverage station filled with coffee, tea, and fruit-infused waters!
Parking: Shoreline Waikiki offers a secured underground valet parking for hotel guests for $30 daily or $10 if you’re dining at “Heavenly” restaurant located right next door.

ROOFTOP POOL
The fun starts at the entrance and goes all the way to the rooftop swimming pool! Upon heading to the pool, the walls leading up at the staircase has a beautiful-IG worthy-wall mural. The rooftop pool is nothing short of amazing as well with the fun artwork! Especially, at night time when the neon lights turn on. Make some time for a day and night swim when staying at the hotel if you can!

Junior Suite room
We stayed in a Junior Suite room, located on the 13th floor (just a floor below the rooftop pool). Each room comes with a welcome package filled with Hawaiian snacks, beverages, and a Hawaiian kukui nut lei necklace. Our room had a comfy king bed, lounge area with sofa, chairs, and table, small lanai (balcony), work desk, mini-fridge with two water bottles inside, local coffee and tea, water kettle, and a flat-screen TV. Drinks in the room are replenished daily! Also, can we just talk about the cute 3D map of Hawaii and the colorful decor? We were so ready to move in for the weekend!

Heavenly Island Lifestyle restaurant
After checking in and checking out our room, and swimming at the pool, we were starving! Thankfully, Shoreline Waikiki has a restaurant located on the ground floor (just outside the lobby) called Heavenly Island Lifestyle Restaurant. This restaurant is very popular for breakfast with high ratings on Yelp. They use only local ingredients in their dish which makes it special. Give it a try while you’re staying at the hotel.
We had an incredible stay at this modern and stylish Waikiki beach boutique hotel! With a picturesque decor at every corner, we couldn’t help but take photos of everything! It’s definitely a fun stay for everyone that love colors. Just being Shoreline Waikiki hotel gives off such a happy feeling!
