With an early start to the day with little in our bellies, we were starving after departing the Manly Express Ferry. After a quick Yelp search for the best place for brunch, Mary ended up leading us to The Boat House which is located towards the end of Manly Beach.

What drew Mary in at The Boat House was the pictures on Yelp; this is why it’s always good to search where to go around the area! It’s better planning to do these things ahead of time.

Throughout our Aussie trip, we noticed a lot of the restaurants and cafes are walk-ins with open tables where you order and pay at a counter. It is very welcoming.

We love the vibe here! It had a very beachy and hipster vibe. The menu is simple as well.

We love this the most! Anyone is able to grab cups and a pitcher of water. There is no need to wait for servers to bring water to you which is a very important thing to me.

They offer a bar area to sit in.

Seating outside and inside as well. The outside seating as a garden area where you can walk around and explore a little.

A little bottle of coke and iced coffee!

Another type of iced coffee where you can mix it yourself.

This is the photo that we saw on Yelp that Mary wanted to try. Nicely presented cappuccino!

Green Fresh Juice with kale, celery, spinach, parsley, cucumber, apple, and lemon. Very refreshing!

Tuna Cracker with coriander, anchovy mayo, green chili, and olive.

Cured Ham Flatbread with cherry tomatoes, rocket, and olive oil. This was delicious! Definitely recommend any of their flatbread meals.

Burger (not a very unique name) with beef, caramelized onion, bacon, cheddar, pineapple, lettuce, pickles and beetroot with chips and chutney. Don’t let these looks stray you from indulging in this delicious burger! It was almost too overbearing, in a good way. The dipping sauce for the fries/potato slices was also top notch!

The Boat House was completely worth the walk. It was about 1 mile/km from the main beach/Manly beach strip. We left fulfilled and revitalized. If you’re in Manly, be sure to stop here for a nice brunch!
