We were picked up by an air-conditioned Mason Adventure van from our hotel. Booking a tour with Mason Adventures is very convenient because they offer a complimentary shuttle roundtrip service.

When we arrived at the Mason Adventures property, we were directed to go up the elevator to the restaurant for the complimentary lunch buffet. We were given enough time to eat lunch and let it settle before rafting. Once we were finished eating, we were given electronic bracelets for the lockers located in the changing rooms.

After putting our items in the locker room, we were given a helmet, life vest, and a paddle. Along with a quick briefing before rafting. We were split into groups that will be riding in the raft together. To get to the rafts, we walked stairs down for about 15 minutes. Then started the white water rafting excursion! It was our first time doing this activity and had a lot of fun! It was thrilling and we saw a beautiful side of Ayung River in Ubud. It wasn’t as extreme as we thought which was a great introduction to white water rafting. Now, we’re ready for more!
