There’s a lot of great Happy Hours in Hawaii and we’re planning on experiencing it one restaurant at a time. Since our last happy hour with foodie friends, we’ve been looking forward to the next one.

This endeavor eventually led us to the next restaurant for happy hour: Yard House. We’ve been to this restaurant multiple times during our stays in Waikiki but our first time there for happy hour. It’s a high-end sports-bar chain with a huge menu of New American fare & an extensive list of draft beers.

Tip: if you end up missing Happy Hour, there is entire Gardein menu for vegans or vegetarians. Their vegan burger is ambrosial!

Location: Waikiki Beach Walk on Lewers Street
Parking: Park at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Waikiki Beach Walk. It’s $6 for 4 hours with validation.
Happy Hour: 2pm-5:30pm (Monday-Friday) and 10:30pm-1am (Sunday-Wedesday)

Speaking of draft beers, to celebrate Yard House’s 22nd anniversary, the restaurant just introduced a new gin botanical-inspired double IPA in partnership with Ryan Reynolds’ popular Aviation American Gin and Stone Brewing. The Liquid Compass Double IPA is available at Yard House now!

HAPPY HOUR DRINKS

Yard House offers $2 off for all draft beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails. $3 off wine (9oz.) and $4 off half yards! We went with the new Liquid Compass Double IPA and Passion Fruit Mojito. Check out the drink menu, here.

HAPPY HOUR APPETIZERS

Yard House offers select half-priced appetizers and pizzas. We ordered the Poke Nachos, Fried Mac + Cheese, Onion Rings, and Margherita Pizza. It was our first time tasting most of these dishes and as always, Yard House does not disappoint! Plus, half of the price for these appetizers is a great Happy Hour offer! Yard House definitely doesn’t fall short when it comes to choices for Happy Hour. We only tried four dishes out of over twenty dishes! We will definitely be back to try more!
