During our visit of Sedona, Arizona we stayed in what seemed like a fantasy realm, straight out of the Cars movie. Seeing that it was based on real geological formations, it was no surprise why it inspired its own movie. Waking up every morning to a surreal sunrise while staying at Best Western Inn was enough to wake us up with a renewed sense of being. As far as I know, it isn’t a”spiritual” place, however, it is a place that can bring out a person’s humility from the sheer awe of the raw beauty surrounding the area.

Every room had a great view and on each level of the complex were these seating areas. We hung out here a couple of times during dusk while sitting around a cozy fire. Best part is that it’s available to all guests and is a great way of meeting fellow travelers.

Sunrise and sunset gave the landscape a new perspective. There were different colors and shades every day that made the scene appear new.

This is where they serve free buffet breakfast every morning. The menu was mediocre. The food did not live up to the scenery but it was enough. They served a typical American breakfast: eggs, sausage, toast, bagels, grits, pancakes, and waffles. More available seating was located outside.

This was our room, two double queens beds. Comfy beds.

In conclusion, apart from the breakfast, it’s a great hotel to stay at since its close to town of Sedona. The views are the really the best part but don’t worry, because there are many activities you can do to get out of your hotel and explore the area first hand.
