As gray skies dissipated we were rewarded with a nice, warm sunny day for March! It was a while since we visited the north shore so made the best decision we could that day and head to a new eatery out in Kahuku. If you don’t know, that’s up on the North Shore of Oahu and home to the famous Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck. However, this was not a shrimp truck day.

We visited Kahuku Farms which was a first. The menu is sweet and simple with few items but the taste and satisfaction more than make up for it in lack of choices. Another upside to this spot is that everything is locally farmed which guarantees that fresh, healthy taste.
Mary went with the Liliko’i Joy Smoothie which includes Passion Fruit (liliko’i), apple banana, and simple syrup. She said it was fresh and deliciously glorious! I went with the Super Kale Smoothie which includes kale, apple banana, and pineapple juice. Let me tell you, mine was better.
Recovering from a small flue with no appetite, we ended up both sharing the Farm Pizza & Side Salad which comes with a Tomato-Eggplant Bruschetta topped with Mozzarella and Basil Mac Nut Pesto. How do we even explain this delicious dish? It was filled with very fresh vegetables on top and a crispy bruschetta, very savory! Definitely get your own plate because after a restored meal we were craving for more!
The open-air environment, friendly customer service (informative of their products and history as well), and delicious, healthy choices than most options out in Kahuku makes us guaranteed visitors in the near future! We will be back and next time, with our own plate each. ????
