We’ve eaten at a whole lot of brunch spots as more and more restaurants are being added to the ‘top’ list. The Pig and the Lady: The original Chinatown location closed in August 2025. The restaurant has relocated to Kaimuki at 3650 Waialae Ave (Civil Beat Plaza) and reopened in October 2025 with the same team and menu favorites.
Arvo: Still open at SALT in Kakaako (324 Coral St) and also has a location at the Surfjack Hotel in Waikiki. Hours: 8 AM – 2 PM daily.
Koko Head Cafe: Now offers dinner service Friday through Monday (5-9 PM) in addition to their popular brunch. Reservations accepted for dinner; brunch is walk-in only.
Over Easy: Winner of the 2024 Hale ‘Aina Silver award for Best Breakfast. No reservations accepted, but you can call ahead to join the waitlist.
All other restaurants on this list remain open as of 2026.

Hey! I originally came here on your 10 favorite beaches on Oahu post and now I find myself getting lost (and found) in your blog! Your posts are amazing! Definitely going to be liking and sharing with my friends and girlfriend. You’ve got a new subscriber!
With my unique diet, I’d say the pics from ARVO and Over Easy are my choices, BUT if I didn’t have a weird diet….I’d devour that warm sugary, gluteny, banana mess from Scratch Kitchen or that Thanksgiving dinner sized feast from Herringbone!
