For a little over a month, exactly 36 days, we traveled around Southeast Asia in Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, and Singapore. Throughout our trip via Air Asia, we were allowed 7KG each for carry-on baggage. The baggage should also be able to fit under the seat or the overhead compartment.
Since we were traveling to multiple countries within Southeast Asia, we decided to bring carry-on. There are many great benefits to traveling with a carry-on only. Here are a few reasons:

- Save Money: It is very affordable to travel throughout Asia via Air Asia. However, each check-in baggage is charged per way. We saved over $300 per person by having a carry-on backpack!
- Less Stress: Since we did not have to check-in any luggage, we are able to keep track of our backpack at all times.
- Save Time: By not having any baggage checked-in. This saves a lot of time by not having to wait at the baggage claim at each destination.
- Save Space: Also, it is easier to travel around and in between public transportation and accommodations. More space, less stress for everyone!
