Our favorite part about our short trip to Singapore was visiting Gardens by the Bay. It’s a nature park located by the Marina Bay Waterfront spanning 101 hectares. With three waterfront gardens such as Bay South Garden, Bay East Garden and Bay Central Garden. Spend an entire day exploring Gardens by the Bay for free! Be sure to stick around at night for the Garden Rhapsody light show at the Supertree Grove. We watched the show twice, it was absolutely breathtaking. 2. EXPLORE JEWEL CHANGI AIRPORT

Believe it or not, you want to have a long layover at Singapore Changi Airport! As soon as we landed in Singapore, we headed over to the Jewel Changi Airport which is connected to the Changi Airport. At Jewel Changi Airport, you’ll find a hotel, restaurants, food court, shops, and the worlds tallest indoor waterfall. Along with free TV Lounges and Wi-Fi throughout the airport!

5. EXPLORE FORT CANNING PARK

Fort Canning Park is a place to visit because of its iconic historical hilltop landmark. The hill once sited the palaces of 14th century Kings and served as the Headquarters of the Far East Command Centre and British Army Barracks. If you’re a history buff, this is definitely worth a visit!

6. SEE THE LIGHT SHOW AT MARINA BAY

Head over to the Event Plaza along the promenade for a night of fun. Watch the Spectra – a light and water show at Marina Bay Sands. This is a great show for the entire family!

7. MACRITCHIE TREETOP WALK

Plan on doing the MacRitchie TreeTop Walk first thing in the morning as it usually gets hot throughout the day. There is a free-standing suspension bridge which connects two highest points (Bukit Peirce and Bukit Kalang) in MacRitchie and offers a bird’s eye view of the community of plants and animals that live in the forest canopy. The total length of the walkway is about 250 meters.

8. VIEW SINGAPORE FROM ION ORCHARD

Head over to ION Orchard Mall on the 56th floor where you’ll find a modern indoor observation deck with high-tech telescopes and beautify city views.

9. VISIT THE ESPLANADE

I wish we had time to visit The Esplanade! It is a theatre on the Bay and Esplanade Mall comprise a multipurpose arts center which incorporates a concert hall, theatre, and an outdoor performance area. They offer free concerts to public!

10. VISIT THE SULTAN MOSQUE AND WALK AROUND ARAB STREET

The Sultan Mosque is one of the most instagrammable mosques in Singapore. It’s beautiful to take photos inside and outside! After a visit to the mosque, walk around Arab Street for shopping and local eats!
