For a quick neighbor island getaway, we went to Maui which was all planned by TravelChic World. Headed by April Cheng, TravelChic World is your dedicated travel agent who will help you find the trip of your dreams. For the accommodation, we stayed at the Honua Kai resort.

ACCOMMODATION

The Honua Kai immediately reminded us of the beautiful Aulani Resort on Oahu; beach front property and large pools, for all ages, offer enjoyment on a sunny day. For rooms, they offer a studio suite, one bedroom suite, two bedroom suite, and a three bedroom suite. We stayed in a beautiful one bedroom suite.

467A3591 — The room had a full kitchen set up. Decked out with the most common kitchen items: Microwave, stove, toaster and oven etc.

467A3604 — Washer Soap provided for a few loads.

467A3609 — Living room with a dining table and pull out bed in the couch opening up to a grand balcony.

467A3594 — Choose between taking a standing shower or having a laying down bath.

The room was basically a condo that could be rented out as a permanent residence. It had everything and provided the utmost quality in comfort and accessibility.

AMENITIES

They have multiple pools available and have ample seating areas. There is a lazy river type pool, a pool with slides, an area for toddlers and a jacuzzi.

DINING

There is a restaurant on the property called Duke’s. We didn’t get a chance to eat here due to time restrictions (we had to get up early the following day for an activity). If it’s anything to its sister restaurant on Oahu, then I’m sure it’s a lovely place to eat with your family or date on vacation. Other places in HONUA KAI are Beach House, Aina Gourmet Market, and Whalers General Store.

RESORT VIEW

The resort had access to a large white sand beach in the front of the property. We had a beach which provided a beautiful view of the unobstructed sunset.

We enjoyed our at stay the Honua Kai Resort so much we envisioned ourselves living on Maui in that very condo. TravelChic World planned our accommodations perfectly. Our son loved the pool and enjoyed the walks on the beach. Honua Kai was a beautiful place to stay; we highly recommend it!
