During our weekend staycation at Coconut Waikiki Hotel, we had dinner at Il Lupino Trattoria & Wine Bar. It’s an Italian restaurant on our best places to eat on Oahu list, located at Royal Hawaiian Center, right next to the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. With an indoor seating and beautiful outdoor dining. Similar to Italian restaurants in Europe but with a touch of paradise.

Breakfast – 8:00 am – 11:00 am
Lunch – 11:30 am – 3:00 pm
Happy Hour – 2:00 pm – 6:30 pm
Dinner – Sun-Thur: 5:00 pm – 10:30 pm/Fri-Sat: 5:00 pm – 11:00 pm
Late Happy Hour – 9:30 pm – 10:30 pm
DRINKS
Il Lupino Trattoria & Wine Bar offers red wine, white wine, beer, cocktails, frozen drinks, and spirits. For a family dinner, we kept it light. Landon ordered an orange juice and I had a Long Island Iced Tea.
DINNER
The menu included appetizers, pizza, seafood, soup & salad, entrees and family size pasta. They also offer daily specials! It’s a perfect time that we’re dining at an Italian restaurant because I’ve been craving for Gnocchi! We went with the Grilled Shrimp, Grilled Octopus, Gnocchi Sorrentina, and Gnocchetti Sardi Con Melanzane.
If you’re an Italian food lover and visiting Waikiki, you’ll want to dine here! We heard amazing things about the Happy Hour menu and can’t wait to try it next time!

Il Lupino Trattoria & Wine Bar at Royal Hawaiian Center is no longer in operation. The restaurant has permanently closed as of 2025. The Royal Hawaiian Center continues to offer many dining options in the heart of Waikiki.
