We spent our weekend at the Queen Kapiolani Hotel where we found ourselves dining at Deck. Restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Deck is located on the third floor of the hotel where guests and non-guests are welcomed for dining. While having a meal, you’ll be able to enjoy live music and a beautiful view of Diamond Head. It’s a great place to take photos with the famous Leahi (aka Diamond Head) as the backdrop.

The open-air dining sets the ambiance of casual aloha Friday as waiters and waitresses create a genuine Aloha spirit in hospitality. On clear nights the open-air design creates a romantic atmosphere on lounge chairs, with cocktails and appetizers under the faint starlight, the indulgence of all these senses could be euphoric.

Breakfast at Deck.

Deck. offers breakfast daily from 6:30am to 11am. On the second Sunday every month, they have “Brunch + Bubbles” from 11am-3pm. We arrived in the early morning, before the crowds, and indulged the Triple Stack Pancakes, Acai Bowl, and Avocado Toast. Definitely try the pancakes with their homemade macadamia nut sauce. Check out the breakfast menu, here.
