Currently eating dessert, I thought of writing about the best desserts you must try in Hawaii. Sweet tooth cravings are real. When they decide to make their visit once a month, there’s luckily more than enough options to choose from in Hawaii. Here is a list of desserts and places we recommend:

1. Mochi

The best mochi on the island would have to be The Mochi Man! The taro mochi with coconut cream is our favorite!

2. Shave Ice

Matsumoto Shave Ice is one of the most popular shave ice place on the North Shore. Try any flavore shave ice with condensed milk and vanilla ice cream!

3. Acai Bowl

Our favorite is from Haleiwa Bowls on the North Shore. They offer the most fruit choices out of the other acai bowl places on the island.

4. Malasadas

With different cream fillings to choose from, Leonard’s Bakery malasadas is a perfect, hot dessert!

5. Coco Puffs

Liliha Bakery is famous for their coco puffs which are available in regular custard, chocolate, and green tea.

6. Creme Puffs

Get this delicious creme puffs from Paalaa Kai Bakery. (source)

7. Papaya Boat

One of the best desserts comes from a food truck, Banán. Try their Papaya bowl with any toppings of your liking!

8. Ube Tarts

If you love Ube, you’ll love the famous Ube Tarts from Uber Factory.

9. Red Velvet Pancakes

One of our favorite places to eat breakfast is at Cinnamons in Kailua. Their Red Velvet pancakes is a must try! (source)

The best mochi ice cream is from Bubbies which you can purchase at Bubbies locations, local grocery stores (Foodland, Times, Safeway, etc.) and Whole Foods! (source)
